odds ‘n ends.

I feel like I’ve been a sporadic blogger lately and I’m hoping that will change in a few weeks once the holiday picture-taking rush is over. Believe it or not my last session before Christmas is next Thursday and then things will start to slow down a bit. I really love wrapping up business related things by December 1st so I can relax and enjoy the holidays with my own fam. This year Brent and I are signed up for a silent retreat with our church the first weekend of December. Now THAT’S the way to kick off a glorious month! I’m looking forward to the silence and solitude already!

Tomorrow I have 17 minisessions scheduled. It will be 31 degrees when we get started at 8 a.m. Pray for me.

On Sunday Brent and I head to Atlanta for PPA’s Studio Management Seminar. I am beyond excited! Not only will we be spending three days working on the financial aspect of our business but we’ll be spending three days together. Nothing is better than three days with my honey. Except four.

Clean Color is still on the horizon. It’s actually been out of my hands for the last two weeks and it’s been lovely. I have someone working all the final details for me and I’m as anxious for the finished product as you all are!

My half marathon is one week from tomorrow. Pray for me.

We did go trick or treating this year and this might be the only proof you’ll ever see…

Sarah was a hula girl, B-Ro was Spiderman. I was ridiculous and my Dad was a sport. Brent was documentarian. The end.

I’ll be back with a ToT post but other than that I’m taking a bit of a blogging break for the next few days while we’re out of town. This week’s ToT post is already shaping up to be a good one.

And on that note, I’m out!

Wow you have had a busy day! It is cold here too! I love this weather, though. Have fun at PPA and with your hubby!
Hopefully Clean Color will be ready soon! I am so super excited about it and I’m trying to wait very patiently! 😉 I know you are too…and I’m sure you’re glad that you’ve got somebody else working it out for you! Have a nice trip!

Erin, I’m missing your ToT posts! I’m going to stop reading your blog if you don’t post. J/K, your blog is too cute to stop reading. 🙂

Missing the ToT! Anxiously awaiting the Clean Color. I had mentally prepared to wait but after seeing Karen Russell’s Halloween pictures and knowing that she uses your system I found myself checking your site more than I should. Love all that you shoot and write!
