reluctantly moving on

As much as I want to leave the previous post up forever and ever and ever I realize that you guys probably aren’t as into it as I am and probably want me to move on. But, seriously, thanks for all the love! It’s so fun to read why you guys come here. I still kind of can’t get over that anyone thinks my life/family/photos are really that interesting but I’m so incredibly touched. This blog has been so fun for me and has given me something to do and look forward to on so many loooooong stay-at-home mommy days. It’s been a gift, truly.

Okay, a few photos from Monday afternoon. Brent had the day off for Veteran’s Day and he spent the entire morning with Sarah. I’m amazed by the time he spends with her sometimes. It seems like I get in such a routine that I don’t always spend the time just playing with her like I know I should. I’m doing the laundry or getting dinner ready or making beds or…blogging (insert big sheepish grin here). But when he’s with her he is non-stop playing. He raked up this big pile of leaves Monday morning just to let her frolick in it…and my baby sure ain’t afraid to frolick!

And now, a little Baby Cobb update. I’m going in tomorrow for an appointment and there’s a possibility I’ll be induced tomorrow night. If not tomorrow then for sure on Monday night so our days are definitely numbered! I’ve already bought a turkey and all the fixings for our Thanksgiving dinner so we’ll either be celebrating early this weekend and having left overs with baby boy in tow or we’ll be home in time to actually celebrate on T’giving Day. Either way, we’ll have a lot to be thankful for in the coming week! If I’m not in the hospital tomorrow night then I’m going to post some pictures of the little guy’s room…just to pass some time and make me happy!

OH!!! Love the leaves pictures. They are just starting to fall here and I can’t wait to toss the leaves around with Kensington.

Erin…you inspire me everyday! Seriously…my DH calls it blog-stalking, but I call it soul searching! Everyone’s blog makes me want to acheive the next level of things. You inspire my momminess, my photography (which is NOwhere near yours), and my true life blogging. Thank you so much for being a part of my day!

I can’t wait to “meet” Mr. Cobb! He is going to be so loved by that big sister of his, I doubt you ever get a picture of just him! She’ll be loving him all over. Best of luck tomorrow if tomorrow happens to be the day! You are right, there is a lot to be thankful for…add that to the list of things you inspire!

That picture of Sarah with her back to the camera in her red skirt and boots just takes my breathe away. Ditto for the one of Miss Sarah dressed in pink. All four of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We’re sending lots of love your way while we anxiously await the next update! Kathy A.

Our little Nate arrived on the 30th, so I totally understand all that excitement. I’m sure you’re really ready for him to come, but as you know…you will miss feeling him from the inside.

Anyway, great leaf pics…especially that last one, love the color!

tracyNovember 15, 2007 - 6:06 pm

Hope everything goes well and I look forward to seeing photos of your new little one!! Good luck with an induction…they aren’t very much fun (and a lil more painful IMO). I come to see the adorable photos of your adorable little girl!! And maybe one day I can get the photography thing down a little better.

JoeyNovember 15, 2007 - 6:13 pm

Best of luck on the delivery of your little man. You must be so excited to meet him and hold him in your arms. I will keep you and your family in our prayers for a healthy and quick labor and delivery. Enjoy this special time!

~KimNovember 15, 2007 - 8:48 pm

You haven’t posted today so that might mean that you are in labor or being ready for being in labor or something to do with labor!

I hope it’s somewhat easy for you!! They say that the 2nd can be.

AHHH! I was convinced you were in the hospital, as most of us probably were – well, I’ll postpone my OCD ways until next Tuesday!
