wide-eyed wonder | huntsville family photographer

That phrase was coined to describe this almost two year old. I’m sure of it.

Everything is interesting to him and it was so cool to watch his little wheels turn and turn. I always  bring a bag of tricks with me and he was enamored by each new thing I pulled out. My old-fashioned spinning top was the favorite…well, until I pulled out the drinking straw. Let’s just say I may be removing that particular little item from my stash. 😉

We started by just hanging out together in his room. He has the best windows!

I love to photograph babies and kiddos in their rooms…it’s such a special place for them and capturing them where they feel most at home is truly priceless. I’ve had so many outdoor, on location sessions lately that I relished the opportunity to hang out with my little friend on his turf.

I think he enjoyed it too.

After we finished up in his room we headed outside to get some shots with his sweet parents. The love and attention in this family just makes my heart happy.

I love this…

After all the fun and the great straw debacle (little guy just didn’t want to give it up!) I think we were all tuckered out. That gave me a chance to grab one of my favorite shots of the day.

Aren’t his eyes amazing?

Thanks for the fun you guys! I’ll have the rest ready for you soon! =)

marian His eyes may be the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Ever.

Dana WOW – that last one made me stop in my tracks. What amazing eyes and eye contact he gave you. Not to mention the perfection of your image…
