family portraits…all grown up | huntsville family photographer

I have had this family session on the books since Thanksgiving weekend and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since. It’s no secret that young children and families are my specialty but getting a family of “bigs” is sometimes just the breath of fresh air I need. Although they’ll tell you that as soon as I set up their first shot I put something on my head by reflex to try and make them laugh. #ToddlerPhotographerProblems

Turns out they didn’t need all my antics to look fab.

I love this shot of Dad and his kiddos. I guess you know they’re officially raised when they’re taller than you are, right?

It’s always fun for me to see families with grown brother-sister pairs. I have a boy and girl of my own so I feel like I’m constantly researching what that relationship is like over time. Which is why this shot totally makes me happy…

And then when I asked if there were any other shots they would like, Zac specifically requested his sister and his fiance in a picture together. If that doesn’t say sibling love I don’t know what does.

Those two are tying the knot in a matter of weeks so I’m sure there are lots more family portraits in their future. But I was super happy and honored to have this day with all of them before the festivities begin.

Thanks guys…it was a privilege.

Lacey R Holy cow! **Dad** and his kids?!! I thought they were siblings! Beautiful photos of a great-looking group!
