Now that we’ve been back in school for a week, the routine has started and my eye is set firmly on Fall I think it’s time to wrap up our beach trip posts.
When I arrived at IOP I realized pretty immediately that my camera battery was waning and I had left my charger at home. I had s session the following day and figured I had enough to juice to make it through that but my own personal pictures would have to suffer. And I was right. About 10 images AFTER my session was over the battery died.
Lucky for me there was another professional Canon shooter on the trip who loaned me her camera for an afternoon.
Thanks Amy!
Two words for this…
HAPPY PLACE.
In church this morning one of our pastors asked us how we define our own personal “good as it gets”. And this is mine. A breezy day, under an umbrella, kids occupied, husband hanging with buds, best friends on either side, beach drink in hand.
Yep, good as it gets.
I really did plan to write more words to this post but as I scrolled through the images I realized I have nothing to add. It’s all there. In my memory. In my heart.
Love you and miss you sweet friends.
