ten on tuesday.

1. Montana was a blast. We ate, we talked, we laughed, we said “Hayden share” and “Ephraim don’t hit” about a billion times and we just generally enjoyed being together. Amy is such an awesome friend and I’m completely blessed to have her in my life. Keep an eye out for her on the business blog because my camera found it’s way to her baby #2 tummy.

2. While in Montana we had the pleasure of meeting Kelly Kuntz, fellow photographer and lifelong Bozemanite. When she read we were headed that way she got in touch to invite us to meet up and I’m so glad she did! It gave Amy a chance to talk Bozeman with a local and me a chance to talk shop and blog with a new friend. Such fun we had! She did a pretty fantastic job of summing up our visit so check out her blog post here.

3. As a parting gift the night before I left Amy let me scour her recipe binders for fresh ideas. When I found something I liked we looked them up on CookingLight.com and then added them to a favorites folder on her computer. This morning she emailed me the favorites folder and I’ve spent the last few minutes printing out a whole new set of delicious. If you’re interested in spicing up your repertoire with some of Amy’s tried and trues (and believe me, you are…Amy is an AMAZING cook) then check out the list here. Just click on the links, print, and enjoy! They all come with an Amy seal of approval.

4. Wanna see my latest Etsy love? Here you go. After over an hour of mumbling and nailing and re-nailing on Brent’s part it’s now hanging on my humble little yellow wall. I love it. My husband rocks. Even if he has made me promise not to buy or design any other wall collections that incorporate a perfectly spaced grid pattern.

5. Two of our dear friends have had babies in the last couple of weeks. Congratulations Katie and Janelle! As a fellow WB character’s name, Ephraim will have no problem hanging with Katie’s sweet Lorelai. I’m fairly certain he’ll be waaaay out-cooled though by Janelle’s new Axel Adventure.

6. Want an alternative to peanut butter in the wake of the salmonella scare? After buying it no more than 2 hours ago, I’m officially in love with Sunbutter. I ate it for lunch with a spoon. No bread, no crackers, no celery – just a spoon.

7. Is anyone else reading/rooting for NieNie? I totally am.

8. Does anyone care to talk me into or out of buying the 85mm/1.2? Better yet, does anyone have one for sale?!  😉

9. Guess who’s having a baby boy? We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome another male Cobb to the family in July!

10. I DID IT! A Ten on Tuesday full of hyperlinks. Nothing makes my heart happier (forgive me, I’m given to hyperbole). On that note, I’m out! Happy Tuesday!

I would love that wall art from etsy. I found it some time ago and have had it in my favorites. Just couldn’t spend the money. We love sunbutter in this house. I think regular peanut butter in the jar is still safe. It’s just the snacks that use the paste that are recalled. I’m so glad you had a great trip.

I read Nie Nie, too!
I discovered her back in October, when it was very scary for her family. She’s an amazing gal, as is her sister, cjane- I read her blog, too!

Awesome list 🙂 And you linking to the recipe list makes up for my lack of updating my “What’s Cookin’ at the Shertzer’s” list! Thank you! Mmmmm. . . sunbutter. I could eat it with a spoon, too. You should totally take the plunge and get the 85mm/1.2! You would do magic with it (and I’d be happy to buy your 85mm/1.8 off you!). Finally, so glad to hear about Tory and Parmy!

First of all we LOVE sunbutter at our house. My 3 year old has severe allergies to peanuts so it is how we have our PBJ’s or SBJ’s around here. 😉

Could you post a picture of your new love at Etsy? I would love to see it hung. You have awesome taste in decorating by the way.

ColleenFebruary 25, 2009 - 7:17 am

I love the blocks! And I heart NieNie. What a woman and what a family. Glad there’s a fellow NieNie lover around. 🙂

Thank you Erin! Have no fear, the coolness factor definitely resides in you home too! I’m not the only one who thinks the Cobbs are cool…Lucas talks about “Sarah Cobb” weekly and he’s pretty sure he knows exactly what she does and does not like. 🙂 Pretty funny! Great post…it’s like a chose your own adventure story with all the links. One question, do you buy sunbutter online or at health food stores? It sounds really tasty!

j.j.February 25, 2009 - 2:57 pm

i, too, was eating sunbutter with just a spoon, then fisher had that flaxSEED reaction, so we’ve had to toss all SEEDs. ah well.

j.j.February 25, 2009 - 9:07 pm

Love those Rock Blocks. They’re pretty cool!

And yes! Get the 85 1.2L!!!! Seriously though, your images are amazing without the 85, but who am I to say no to some yummy L glass? (It’s easy for me to say this because it’s not my money, lol.)
