Last night I spent some quality time with my neglected Spring 2012 memories and my pantry (what? I was hungry). I think I’ve gotten things to a manageable and shareable level.
While I was hunting around I realized that I missed an entire half of my California pictures when I first edited and shared them. It was kind of a fun surprise, actually. It let me relive those awesome moments.
Like when I walked around and grabbed a couple shots that have my grandparents fingerprints all over them. This planter filled with succulents is my Grama’s signature handiwork.
And this birdhouse replica (in progress) of the old one room schoolhouse that is now my grandparent’s home (of 50 years) is quintessentially my Grandpa.
As is his very right-brained system of garage organization.
Let’s just say, “they don’t call me John Keith’s left-handed, right-brained granddaughter for nothing.”
I ran across Ephraim engaging in possibly his favorite California experience…riding the gator with my Uncle Mark.
And Sarah and Charlotte fixated on what was once my favorite Carlton Road pastime with my sister…building a fort out of junk!
Finding those lost Cali pictures also reminded me how much I love my little cousins, Noah and Aaron. Noah’s always been the creative, musical one…
Who apparently makes a worthy wrestling opponent when you’re talking about a little round of 3 on 1.
Aaron’s always been super athletic and studious.
Checking out one of his baseball games while we’re in town is always high on the kids’ list.
Which is about 50% because they think Aaron is awesome and 50% because they’re concession stand connoisseurs.
And while I have nothing to say about these next three photos (they speak for themselves)…
