ten on tuesday.

1. I’m so sorry if I scared you over my little April Fool’s prank on Sunday. Okay, I’m not actually sorry. 😉 I love a good prank. But I do appreciate the heartfelt concern some of you expressed. You know how to make a girl feel loved!

2. Registration for my breakout session with Clickin Moms, Perfect Clients: Finding Them, Keeping Them and Helping Them Help You, officially ends tomorrow (Wednesday) and you’ll be able to download the materials through Thursday. However the session in its entirety will be available for purchase in the Clickin Moms store for the next six months. The only difference between purchasing now is that you’ll have access to the forum (until Thursday) where you can chat and bounce ideas off of other who have purchased the session. At any rate, if you’re in business or thinking of starting a business I think you’ll love it…and you don’t have to be a Clickin Moms member to take advantage of this opportunity!

3. I got my hair cut above my shoulders today and if I had a bone in my body capable of taking a decent self portrait I would show it to you. But I don’t.

4. After putting the call out on my blog for your favorite spots for newborn hats and goodies I ended up stocking up on a huge stash of lovelies. I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for my next newborn to arrive! I purchased the most precious things from Sweet Pea Hats, GramaGift11, LittleBirdLucy, and Daffadowndillies (she made those gorgeous handmade flowers into headbands for me…divine!). Each of those vendors worked with me to create custom items exactly to my specifications and were fast and sweet to boot. Check ’em out!

5. Somehow when I wasn’t looking my Erin Cobb Photography Facebook likes overshot the 3,000 mark. In order to do a little celebrating I decided to offer up a copy of Clean Color OR a weekday ECP session in Huntsville OR a $25 Starbucks gift card. All you have to do is head over there (like the page pretty please?) and comment on the giveaway post. Easy Peasy! I’ll choose a winner tomorrow evening. =)

6. If you’re the scrapbooking kind it’s not too late to get in on the action over at Ella Publishing’s Spring Training. I’ll be posting three videos covering shooting in low light, three ways to shoot with window light, and shooting for expression. I’ve made two of the videos already and you’re in for a treat. That is, if “treat” to you means learning some rocking info while laughing hysterically at the presenter and the antics of her (semi)cooperative children, ahem, models.

7. You know I always love to share videos that move/inspire/blow me out of the water. This one did all of that. Some people are just crazy talented. Guess you can’t judge a book by its cover, right?

8. So, I played the MegaMillions in California last week. I didn’t actually want to win the jackpot, I really just wanted to hit four numbers and win like 250K. Millions of dollars scare me. Hundreds of thousands? Just right. Anyway, Brent gave me five numbers plus the powerball number (he’s the luckiest person I know) and a five dollar bill and I headed down to the convenience store to buy our five tickets. As I walked away I wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I should do so I asked over my shoulder, “I should just play these same numbers five times, right?”

Three things about this:

First, there’s a reason I’m not the book keeper for my business.

Second, the look on my husband’s face in that moment was not unlike the one I saw flash over him the first time he saw me jump rope (terribly, just days after we were married). It clearly said, “What the (bleep!) have I done? This is not the woman or the gene pool I thought I married.”

Third, we didn’t win. And it’s a good thing. I’m apparently not smart enough to handle megamillions. Or mega-hundreds-of-thousands. Or five dollars.

10. Just a heads up to you digital-crafty type people out there that I’m going to be putting out an application for a digital designer soon. I have some projects in mind that I’d like a little help with and since I’m pretty sure I have the smartest, most creative and prettiest readers on the planet, I thought I’d start looking right here. So be on the look out if you’re interested in contracting for that type of work!

Ok, I just laughed to myself because of #10 on your list and then realized that you skipped a #9. Your talents really do stray far of numbers, huh? You more than make up for it in other ways! 🙂
