weekend visitors.

A couple of weekends ago we were lucky enough to have my high school friend Daphne and her sweet little man in town for a couple of days. It always makes my heart smile when Daphne texts and says, “we want to come visit…when are you free?”. I love when my old world and new world collide.

Speaking of colliding…

The kiddos wasted no time Saturday morning letting Daddy know who was in charge.

Daphne’s little guy is one of Ephraim’s favorite people in the world. He looks forward to these visits for weeks and tells everyone he sees that his buddy is coming. I love that they love each other the way his mama and I do!

We had gorgeous weather when they were here so we took full advantage of it. We donned helmets and set off for the pool parking lot.

We had mad skills to practice.

Namely, posing. I asked Sarah to “do something fancy” for me and this is what I got.

Nice.

B-Ro and his bud were too busy racing and practicing their speed to pose for the camera.

And…so was Daddy.

And Daphne.

And then the trip ended as all trips with Ephraim generally do

That evening we decided to refuel with pizza at our favorite (haunted) pizza joint downtown.

We were quite a sight as we piled out of the truck, I’m sure.

The wait was long, the pizza was great,

but the gelato was better.

But the company?

Well that took the cake. Love you guys!

I love how you put it…when your old world collides with your new world. We usually see a college friend when we visit Disney World and I love that our kids are able to see each other!

We had a great time as usual! I love getting to catch up with my childhood friend while watching my son forming a strong bond with your son. We’re looking forward to our next visit already! Much love!!

Sarah’s “fancy pose” literally made me laugh out loud! This looks like such a fun weekend.
