ten on tuesday.

1. I’m barely squeaking this ToT post in under the wire. I’ve been out painting (and eating!) cupcakes with Amanda, Myra, Stephanie, and a few other new friends. I’m coming down off of a major sugar high so forgive me if I ramble. 😉

2. If you haven’t seen baby Jude’s birth slideshow yet, you’re missing out. Check it out over on the business blog. Also, I think I may have been bitten by the birth photography bug.

3. Speaking of business, my new logo is finally ready! I’m totally in love. I asked the designer to take my old logo concept and “grow it up”. I feel like that’s totally what I got. My only hiccup was not being able to commit to just one color palette (but realizing that I needed to move away from a bajillion colors within one logo). So instead, I asked for three color variations of the same logo. I’m so thrilled to be able to keep a similar color story to what I had before, while using a more professional logo that totally feels like me. I really couldn’t be happier.

4. I used Infinet Design for this project and, yes, I would recommend them. Be ready for a wait though…they’re in high demand.

5. Hard core training for the Country Music Marathon starts on Monday. So the question is, take this week off and enjoy it or keep up with my regular runs? Brent is planning to run it to (his first!) and I’m super excited about doing it together.

6. I’ve scored several fun things on shopgoodwill.com this week. If you’ve never checked it out, do. In the last two weeks I’ve scored a vintage style telephone, a brownie hawkeye camera, an antique postal scale (all for the cottage)…and a vintage Coach hobo purse for me. =) Happy girl.

7. Have you seen the new Tom’s ballet flats? Hold me back!

8. After months of hearing about (and scoffing at) my friend Ginger’s love for Garden and Gun magazine, I finally checked out one of her recent issues. I immediately fell in love and didn’t hesitate for a single second when it showed up as Living Social’s deal of the day on Monday. I also didn’t hesitate to add a subscription for my Yankee BFF as well. She may be laughing now but I swear, she’s gonna love it.

9. I think my favorite Super Bowl commercial didn’t even air in the United States. It was Canadian. And for Budweiser (which I hate)…

10. If you’ve been thinking about taking Karen Russell’s Photographer’s Workshop, your chance is almost here. She has a session starting up in April and I know you’ll love it! Registration will be on February 14th at 9 am PST and spots will go zippedy quick…so set your alarm! And don’t forget, if you’re able to grab a seat I’ll see you in her forum during the last week of class to chat about my Clean Color process. It’s a super fun time!

Hi Erin,
I am currently enrolled in Karen’s class. I’m excited and overwhelmed at the same time. In preparation to spending some time chatting with you, I purchased your Clean Color tutorial. I haven’t been able to get into it yet (did I mention I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed?), but I am SO looking forward to it.

Love the new logo, I saw it yesterday on the two sisters post. And I’m wishing I could afford to take Karen’s class again just to have the chance to chat with you for a week.

I love the new logo. I like the middle color set the best. My favorite superbowl commercial was the m & m party one near the beginning. I couldn’t stop laughing. Good luck with the training!
