ten on tuesday.

1. I returned from PPA’s Imaging conference in New Orleans just a few hours ago. I’m a few pounds heavier but I swear it’s just all the new knowledge. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the midnight beignets, plentiful daiquiris, crawfish, gumbo, oysters and the like. Gosh I wish knowledge weren’t so fatty.

2. While the seminars, parties, expo and events were all fabulous, the two highlights had to be hanging with Amy and meeting and connecting with the girls who run Clickin Moms. What a fabulous contingent of women! If you haven’t checked out the site, you really must. (Hi Sarah, Sarah, Sara, Monica, Kendra, Kathyrn, Lisa and Courtney!)

3. It totally makes me smile that as I was just typing about Imaging my sweet friend Jeanelle texted to see where I was and if I wanted to hang out. (She’s still at Imaging, I’m home.) Seriously, if you don’t have internet friends to spice up your life, think about finding some. They’re super fun. =)

4. Also something that makes me smile? This.

5. Recently Amanda turned me on to Snapseed and this weekend Lisa gave me a thorough overview of its many merits. Thanks to Amanda’s quick-on-the-draw Twittering, I picked it up for free. But I’d say it’s solidly worth the 4.99 regular price.

6. And it seems I also need FlipBoard. (By the way, how many apps do you find that actually have 5 stars?!)

7. If you have a minute, please pray for my neighbor Joel. He has 5 radiation treatments left in his cancer fight and he’s right in the thick of the hard stuff.

8. The kiddos specifically requested a king cake from my trip to New Orleans. Does two years in a row a tradition make? They seem to think so. (For the record, Sarah got the baby this year.)

9. Sarah has two slightly wiggly teeth and one big ol’ grownup tooth that has popped right through the gum behind. This mama ain’t ready.

10. In addition to the king cake I also brought the kids each a t-shirt from NOLA – “Crabby Girl” for Sarah and “Crabby Guy” for Ephraim. E took one look at his shirt, frowned, and announced, “I don’t like it!” I rest my case.

Erin, #10 = hilarious!! I once bought my daughter a Little Miss Bossy t-shirt. She read it and declared, “I’m not wearing that!” : D
