ten on tuesday.

1. If you’ve been wondering what all this “cottage” buzz is about, you can check it out here. I’m anxious to share pictures of the interior but I think I’ll wait until we’ve moved in and have everything just so.

2. I plan to finalize details for 2012 travel sessions this week. As of right now I’ll be in New Orleans in January, SoCal in February and the central coast of California in March. Are there any other locations I should consider? I may be persuadable. =)

3. I’m working with a design firm to rebrand my business with a new logo. I got my first draft of proofs today and it’s so exciting to see the multitude of ways I could take this thing. Also overwhelming.

4. Brent is playing “Stand By Your Man” in the other room and keeps turning it up louder and louder. That couldn’t possibly be directed at me, could it?

5. If you missed my little Clean Color Cyber Monday sale but would love to get your hands on a copy, be sure to enter Prop Insanity’s giveaway for the bundled version here.

6. My sister will be taking her Sifted Vintage shop on the road to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire this Sunday. I’m SO jealous of any of you close enough to go. It sounds like an amazing place with amazing finds and I’m sure it beats the antique shopping I’ve been doing on Huntsville’s Craigslist these days. By the way, if you see this bowling bag there, think of me. I lurve it.

7. Next week I get to join Karen Russell’s students on her class forum for an entire week to talk Clean Color editing. I’m beside myself with excitement! If you’re a current student of Karen’s, I can’t wait to see you there! If you’re not a student but might like to be, be sure to check out all the details on her Photographer’s Workshop!

8. Yesterday Sarah said to me, “Mom, I feel like we’re the only family in Huntsville who still doesn’t have a Christmas tree.” Noted. We’re getting the tree this weekend.

9. Also on tap for this weekend? Taking the yearly Christmas card photo. Now that I’ve designed and delivered most of my client’s cards, it’s time to tackle my own. Fun times!

10. I’ve mentioned my friend Amy’s work with World Food Program here before, but check out the WFP blog to read her story first-hand. It’s inspiring to say the least!

What would it take to get you to come down to the Houston area? I’ve been itching for a session with you since before I had kids and now that are twins are here, I keep bugging my husband for a trip to Alabama.
