ten on tuesday.

1. The whirlwind Fall to beat all Fall continues. In the last week we’ve celebrated Sarah’s birthday, nursed her through a stomach bug, thrown her party, surprised my Dad for his 60th birthday with a weekend trip to his hometown, hosted all of our parents overnight, hosted my sister and niece for the weekend, gone Trick or Treating, partied with the neighbs for Halloween at our house, finalized the details for the real estate closing of our new business cottage (November 22nd BABY!), started foundation work on our home, successfully finished installing our new computer system, and, oh yeah, Brent was out of town for most of that time.

2. I’ve nixed my Huntsville Half Marathon plans. See #1.

3. Sarah left her birthday party, sick, about halfway through the big event. Talk about a disappointing way to turn 6.

4. BUT Tommy’s Pizza officially throws the best birthday party in town. Seriously. I know that may seem random but Tommy was unbelievable with the kids. Pictures will be forthcoming.

5. For now, check out the invite…

6 Also forthcoming? Pictures of our yearly trek to Tate Farms, our trip to Birmingham with my Dad, and Halloween night.

7. My  friend Amy J. has recently started volunteering/working whole-heartedly with one.org. You’ll be hearing lots more about this from me soon but feel free to click on the link and read ahead. 😉 I’m so proud to have Amy in my inner circle. She’s a gift to the world.

8. Hey, guess what now stands across the street from one of my Dad’s childhood homes…

Pretty crazy huh?!

9. On a related note, does this little boy look familiar to you?

(I’m almost as enamored by that look familial alike as I was by this one.)

10. Happy Almost-Wednesday friends!

Wow you have been busy. I hope Sarah is feeling better.

Wow that photo, looks just like Ephraim! Is that a grandfather? Who is it?

I love Sarah’s birthday invitation! Where did you get her baker’s hat? I’m thinking of throwing a cupcake/baking party for my daughter’s 5th birthday, and I would love to find some great, cheap bakers hats for the kids to personalize. Also, weren’t you sick with a stomach bug last year on Sarah’s birthday??
