Me + Karen.

You may have already heard the news via my good friend Karen Russell. But in case you haven’t, here you go.

Karen and I are teaming up, officially. Where she goes, I go. Where I go, she goes. Figuratively. And only on the internets. Of course.

Karen does a pretty bang up job of explaining our new “us” status over on her blog. But I’ll give you the basic run down here too…

As many of you already know, Karen has spent the last several years teaching The Photographer’s Workshop. Her nine week course teaches her students how to really see everyday moments and document them through photographs. If you’ve spent any time on Karen’s blog then you know what a master she is at that in her own life. And her workshop on the subject has been met with rave reviews. I’m honored to be partnering with her in that endeavor.

SO. Starting with her current class I will be joining her students on the class forum for a week at the tail end of their course. I’ll be there to answer questions, critique images, and just generally be helpful as it pertains to my editing process. The purchase of my Clean Color video tutorial isn’t required to take part in these discussions but they won’t make much sense without having viewed it previously. Karen’s students get a discount on the purchase of the video tutorial so now there’s no reason not to join the fun!

What a generous giveaway! I would love to win. I purchased your Clean Color tutorial and the difference it has made for me cannot be put into words. I purchased PSE 9 months before I Clean Color came out and I was too intimidated to get past opening the program. Clean Color gave me the tools to get started. Thanks so much for this great opportunity ! I have your clean edit workflow and it the best money Ive ever spent! I’ve always wanted to take a class with Karen so this would be perfect, if I won.
Sob story time,I’m a single mom work my butt off in a $10. An hr job. I was second shooter at a wedding last weekend when my camera just DIED on me! So I had to run to the camera shop to get a new body so I could finishshooting. Got the Canon 7D I figured I had a sigma 500mm lens I didn’t use to much anymore and could sell it to pay off most the camera… Well I got screwed by some mean scamer :( long story short they got the lens I got nothing!!!! No money. I got scammed.
So winning this spot would be a dream come true and I wouldn’t have to think of what bank to rob so I can sign up. Lol

I’ve taken Karen’s class…was in her very 1st one and would LOVE to retake it again! Sooo much to soak in such a short amount of time…I want to review it all. And I’ve also purchased your clean color for PSE which by the way, is totally worth it! but now would love to upgrade to the full PS! You girls make one awesome team!

I found your info from Karen Russell’s Photography Workshop. I plan on buying “Clean Color” video when I’m done with the workshop. I have a lot to learn so I wanted to take the classes one at a time then together. I just can’t take in too much info without full melt down. January would be perfect since this is when I was planning on taking them both at the same time. Sign me up!!! Your photos are amazing!
