jumping around.

Jumping around.

It’s what the boys were doing at the beach on this lazy morning last month…

And it’s what I plan to do on this blog for the next couple of weeks.

I still have beach pictures to share.

And a few from my dad’s house. More from my mom’s house.

Plus just keeping up with the every day hilarity that ensues around here. (My son called me “idiot” in the middle of the PX yesterday. Have I mentioned that? Not so hilarious. Darn Disney movies.)

Anyway. I hope you don’t mind…

all the jumping around.

My daughter called her teacher an idiot one time. THEN told her teacher that her mom called her dad that. What she forgot to mention was that we were JOKING around. Thankfully she said it in a silly manner so her teacher knew she wasn’t being disrespectful. Too funny!

Great fun!
Erin, can I ask what you do with all your pictures? I know you do a photo a day book, but what about all the other photos? Do they each get individual books of all their activities, etc?

when my son is mad, frustrated, etc., he’ll yell “you idiot!” and on to the step for a time out he goes. I’m ready to kick it up a notch and throw in the little squirt of hand soap….
My daughter told me in the most loving, affectionate tone that I had a fat belly. Feel the love!

That is so funny. I am so aware now of the word stupid and idiot because it’s on many cartoons, Disney or not. Tristan always points out on any cartoon that “ooohhh mommy he said idiot, or he said stupid” whichever word he hears. So we had to explain to him what it means, and why it’s not nice to say. Although I’m guilty of saying that word when my husband and I are having a conversation and I forget the kids are like sponges.

Love the jumping and I love that they still have their loveys.

Those boys are too cute! William looks just like his daddy. At least Ephraim only calls you names…Nick told his preschool teacher that she was fat when he was 4. Lovely, just lovely. He had a nice long conversation with mommy after that one and then an apology session with his teacher the next day. Jump away on the pictures, will love them no matter what.

Hop around all you want – don’t mind a bit! 😉

My soon to be 15 year old daughter not once but twice told me I was annoying! She found out how annoying I was when I took her phone away – she actually told a friend of mine the story of when she did it and she told her that the second time it just slipped out of her mouth and she knew when she said it she was in trouble!
