you made it!

Thanks for finding the new blog!  Kick up your feet and make yourself at home. In fact, I was just about to cue the Christmas slideshow. I hope you don’t mind. 😉

Let’s start with the Eve, shall we?

Sarah’s JoJo came early to enjoy the day and work on a project with Sarah. There are few things in life that Pi’bears loves more than a project. Maybe sugar. But projects would still be a close second.

Guess who was in charge of the eyes?

(for the enquiring minds that might want to know – they’re chocolate covered cherries stuck to hershey’s kisses while the chocolate was still hot, almond slivers for ears and dots of icing for the eyes. Genius, huh? My MIL is crafty like that.)

There was a candy and cocoa break…

before we headed to church, then back again for the first round of our unrepentent holiday Stuff Your Face Fest.

Santa stopped by for a beer.

Oh wait, wrong jolly bald guy. That’s just grandad admiring the ale.

And that Pi’bears making sure our Festival lived up to it’s name.

We secured a snack for the big guy before turning down the lights and nestling into all corners of the house.

Stockings were always my favorite thing about Christmas morning growing up. Just when you thought the present haul was over and you settled into the couch with a contented sigh someone would sit bolt-upright again and holler, “STOCKINGS!!!”. Love it.

And since nothing says “I’ve been a good boy this year” like baked peas in your stocking, little E was thrilled.

After the kiddos finished up their madness we moved on to the grandparents…

and great grandparents…

And back to the kiddos again…

(B-Ro’s board book. He’s a fan. I’ll share more pics later)

And when it was over, we agreed…

it was good.

I love it! I just re-did my family blog too, and working on the business site… I love the new look and bigger pictures.

I LOVE what you did with the stockings and the pictures on them… Awesome!

Just so ya know when I clicked on the comment page it shrunk everything down to only take up 1/4 of the width of the page… I have no idea why or how to fix it but I thought you’d like to know.

Hi Erin!!!

Waou, what a great new blog! I’m lil bit sad to change LOL it was like a tradition for me to click every morning on your last blog!

I will confess, I’m slow to embrace change. I suppose I’ll have to get use to it though!!

Christmas looks like it was idyllic at the Cobb house…and I love the stockings best too! Rande never wants to get up early so the kids and I always try to curb our excitement with the stockings while not-so-patiently waiting till it’s present time.

Happy New Year!!!!

Love the new look. You, of all people, needed the bigger pictures! Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Those little mice are adorable and something I’m going to have to do with my kiddos.

Looks great Erin and of course I love your photos captured. Can’t wait to see more photos of the board book… it looks adorable!

I’ve had it on my mind to change over to WordPress as well. Just looks so clean and fresh. I’ll just add it to my to-do list I guess.

Happy New Year and may God richly bless your family with His love and mercies in 2009.

Love your new blog layout (and of course your photos never disappoint)! I created a blog book after you suggested Blurb and was so excited to make my 2008 book however Blurb currently is unable to support Blogger. Do you know of any other sites out there that do the same thing? Maybe Blurb will get it worked out…I just don’t know when that will be and am excited to see our year in print again!

Thanks so much!!!!

Hello. Not totally agree with you, but you just gave me an idea for a new eBook regarding \”you made it!\”. It is related to hershey chocolate images. Thanks.
