one frame a day, v.2011

It’s loud, it’s proud, and it’s live. Happy New Year friends. =)

Thank you for the incredibly kind sentiments and generous prayers lifted up in my last post. We’ve spent much of the weekend with Andy’s family, busying ourselves with little tasks that are helping us channel our grief into a small amount of usefulness. Funeral arrangements have been made for Monday. Please continue to hold this family near in your hearts. They have a dark road to travel. I’ve been able to pass along some of your beautiful words regarding organ donation, and they are appreciated.

Looks great Erin! I started mine today too – – thanks to your inspiration! 🙂 Now if I can just keep up with it and continue it for the whole year!! We shall see. I am surely going to give it a try! You are so good at multi-tasking… maybe if I subscribe to yours and look at it every day, then that will encourage me to continue doing it!!

Hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Still looking forward to Clean Color in Jan. right?! 😉

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends at this difficult time. This seems so trivial at this time, but I am obsessed with fonts. Could you tell me what fonts you use in your posts and also you new POTD title? I am so excited to watch the year unfold in your pictures.
Thank you

Oh Erin, my heart aches for this family. My grandmother lost a child, and any time she heard of someone experiencing that kind of loss, she would always get a faraway look and say, “No one knows how terrible that ache is.” I will pray for this family and for all of you who loved Andy.

My father received a kidney transplant (donated from my mother), and it gave him several more years of good life. What an amazing legacy to leave the gift of life for others. While I’m sure nothing makes the ache of loss any less right now, I hope that will be a tiny measure of comfort for his family in the years ahead.

I look forward to your image a day! I want to try it also!
