Ooooh…these new LinkWithin links are so dangerous! I’ve found three of your old posts that I forgot I wanted to remember and now have an email full of bookmarks to check out when I get home!

LOVE this. Left you a comment over there too :). I get a tad bit obsessive abott things when I am excited and this excites me.
I went to Blurb. Which format did you use? Bookify, Blurb booksmart or PDF to book?
How may pages and how many pics did you use?

I am SO excited to do this in 2011! Even if I miss a day here or there, I will still treasure having so much of my children’s live documented! I’m so encourage by you and excited you are back in for 2011!

I’m so excited so many of you guys are excited about joining me!!!

Nicki, I use the Booksmart software…only because that was the only thing they had when I first started using them a few years ago. Blurb can slurp blogs for you and you won’t have to do the whole photoshop template thing if you are working on a platform they recognize. Unfortunately my wordpress blog is self hosted which means they can’t slurp it for me. It’s okay though since I really, really love the format I use.

I did a page for each image/day but by the time you take out all the days I missed I probably only have 200-250 sides in my book which means about 125 pages. It’s expensive to print for sure but worth every penny in my opinion! Plus, when I think of all the money I used to spend on scrapbooking supplies I think it probably evens out. 😉

Hi Erin! Your books are beautiful ( and so are your photos)! I was just wondering if you could tell me what font you used for the photo titles. Thanks!

i see lots of people that do the PAD, but had never seen it put into a book like this – LOVE this idea!! I think that I might join you in 2011!!

I am finishing up my first year and sis pretty well, I should end up with around 300!! I was all set to set the camera aside for 2011 but you have totally changed my mind, I think I may sign up for a round 2! You should join in over at the Wendy Alumni Flickr group, it’s a fun group of gals over there!

Peggy, it’s a font called Segoe Script. Hope that helps!

Hi Erin, this is such a neat idea!! I am so excited to try it… one quick question… when you are putting together the book where do you get your pictures from? i’m assuming you don’t use the ones from the website bc those are formatted for web? do you save them individually for print in a folder somewhere on your computer?
thanks for sharing!!
