fun for all ages.

Grama came through with B-Ro’s plasma car for his birthday. He insists it’s not as fast as the other kids’ but I figure that’s par for the course. Everyone’s everything is bigger, faster, more fun, and just generally better when you’re 3 (or 99), right?

We’re working on it though. Grama greased the wheels and Grandaddy spent one afternoon last week numbering all of the merits of having your very own plama car. For starters, attempting to run over your Grandaddy… How many points do you get for running over an almost 60 year old?

Better yet, how many points do you get for pushing an almost 60 year old?

Perhaps best of all, how many points do you get for being an almost 60 year old,

and still managing to do this…

If I weren’t pretty sure there was footage out there somewhere of me racing another neighborhood mom down the driveway in a plasma car I’d give my Dad all kinds of grief for this next shot.

But I’m definitely sure that there is. So instead I’ll say, Dad, you’re just about the best Grandaddy these little ones could ask for.

Thanks for being such a great sport.

I love that sarah is wearing jeggings (at least I think they are :-D) this made my day. I can’t wait until I have a little girl to put in jeggings.

That is awesome Erin! My dad would never do this for my kids…totally makes me realize what kind of grandparent I want to be one day.

I didn’t think my brother could jump that high or is it some of your trick photography Deed.:)I would have liked to have seen the pics of him getting off the scooter. :)There is no doubt he loves his girls and grandkids very much.

I must be out of the loop on these babies. They look really cool. Are they all the rage and I’m living under a rock?

We have a plasma car–did you know they can hold up to 200 lbs or something like that? We have a sloped driveway, I was trying it when I thought no one was looking…just a tad embarrassing as a neighbour drove by, me flying down the driveway. But they are fun! The sloped driveway is a bit nerve wracking with little ones, but our older kids have perfected the flying down and turning at the last second, before they go on the road. Have you tried it?!

Wow – awesome photos. I WANT to get my little one a plasma car for Xmas, but hubby is not convinced. I keep hearing they’re pretty cool, but he’d rather get her a Power Wheels something-or-other. Could you weigh in??

Stephanie, are you talking about Power Wheels as in a motorized vehicle? If so, our kids have those too (gifted from the neighbors). They do ride them but probably only half as much as the Plasma Cars. I would definitely go with the plasmas.

Here, here! That’s an agile man – for any age!

What a cool Grandaddy your kids have 🙂 My daughter has just given me my first granddaughter and I can’t wait to have fun with her too!

Hi – me again! YES, your comment has officially tipped the scales and hubby has come over to the “plasma” side of things. He said after I mentioned it and showed him your adorable photos, he kept hearing people at work talk about them. Great minds must think alike!

Thanks so much!
