my love.

When I fell in love with my husband

almost 13 years ago now,

I thought it was for the last time.

Turns out,

I was wrong.

Sometimes the biggest blessings,

are the ones you least expect.

Oh how sweet!! Nothing like a Mama’s boy is there!?

donyaSeptember 15, 2010 - 7:46 pm

Oh my gosh, the sweetness!! Love it.

Also, I had a random question that maybe you could include on your next FAQ post someday: You take so many pictures of your family (not just immediate family) at gatherings. I do as well. Do you have a system for giving those photos to your family? Like in case they want to print them? Since they aren’t clients, you know? Hopefully that makes some sense. Basically, I’m just curious if you share them with your family members and how.

I know the LOVE and love the LOVE! 🙂 Miss you.

I added you to my google reader about a month ago but am just now hopping over here to comment. 🙂 I just had a baby boy (he’s 4.5 months old) so these make me MELT into a puddle. Toooooo sweet!!
We also just moved to Birmingham, AL from Charlotte, NC so I am hoping sometime in the future to make the trip up to Huntsville for a family session with you. I love your work, and even more than that, I love how you love your precious little ones. Its just the sweetest!

These are wonderful! Did you hubby take them. This makes me think I need more photos with my 3 mama’s boys.

TinaSeptember 15, 2010 - 9:40 pm

Love it…and I know just how you feel. Little toddler boys are so sweet (and mischievous…so I guess it kind of balances out, huh?)

Love those sweet, fat, baby boy hands. I have a 3 year old boy and I am trying to freeze time before he become big and stinky. So far it’s not working. Can’t wait until the dvd comes out!!!

Please please please email me and tell me how you managed to get Ephraim to take these with you… what camera did you use (iphone or SLR?)?? I have a squirrely 3 year old who I’d love to get some shots like this of him and I. I feel the same way about my two boys… and I have been in love with her daddy for almost 16 years now (half my life come this May:)

Pretty please with lots of brown sugar on top:)

AmySeptember 16, 2010 - 8:13 pm

Beautiful! So perfect. Love you both!

(And even though the 50mm is small, it’s still a heavy load when attached to the 5D Mark II–you must be pumping a little iron after all those miles you’re doing!)

(And, AND! I’m loving the glimpse of what you’re wearing–please share more!)

AlexisSeptember 17, 2010 - 1:31 pm

I’ve come back to this post several times now. I absolutely love it!! My son will be 2 next month and these remind me him. I love love love these so much. I follow lots of blogs Erin, but you are one of my absolute favs.

LaurenSeptember 17, 2010 - 9:28 pm

Your blog spoke to my heart. Our family sponsor’s three kids. With the hurricane that life has become lately our communication with them has been non-existent. It has been sitting heavy on my heart. Just today thought, we need to sit down as a family and write to them. Your blog gave me a kick in the pants. We’ll have our own “family meeting” tomorrow to do just that! Thanks!

LaurenSeptember 17, 2010 - 9:30 pm

Oops. Posted on the wrong entry! Sorry.

JenniferSeptember 20, 2010 - 9:31 am

OH MY GOODNESS!! I had a crazy week last week dealing with my mom, and just never got around to checking your blog. Look what I missed!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!!

BeccaSeptember 23, 2010 - 8:19 pm

Isn’t that the truth! I fell in love all over again with my husband when I delivered each of the kids. There’s something pretty special about seeing my little boy. I had a sister growing up so could only imagine what little boys were like. Now I have a glimpse into my husbands childhood 🙂 I love him all the more! What a cutie he must have been if he was only half as cute as our son~who is his spitting image!
