1. Last night’s dinner: Orzo Risotto with Roasted Vegetables. Outcome: divine. My recipe differed only slightly in that I used toasted pecans and feta in place of the pine nuts and ricotta salata.

2. A fusion of two of my favorite things: My dear friend Eric who produced my business video last year has now produced a series of videos for Grow Alabama, explaining the amazing things their organization is doing. Check it out.

3. I’m trying to keep up with my Twitter feed although I’ll admit that I struggle to come up with meaningful content. And I’ve tried unsuccessfully it seems to link my Facebook and Twitter feeds. What’s up with that?

4. I have been photographing some BEAUTIFUL children lately. BEAUTIFUL. Last year at this time was relatively slow…not this year! We’ve been hopping since January and I like it!

5. Starting an impromptu sunday school class at our church this Sunday reading and discussing Shane Claiborne’s book Irresistable Revolution. Our household has two copies since Brent put one in my stocking and I gave him one for his birthday the very next day. We’re putting them to good use. Join us if you’re local!

6. I’m desparate for a subscription to National Geographic. Does that make me old or just inquisitive?

7. Someone gave me a Snuggie today as an early birthday present (three months till 30…holla!!!). Does that make me old or just comfy?

8. We’re headed to California next month for spring break! Tickets are in the inbox (that’s 21st century speak for “tickets are in hand.”). We’ll be in the Monterey Bay area and, yes, I’m taking sessions. No trip to LA this time around though. Sorry. =( If you’ve already emailed me about a spot I’ll be getting in touch in the next week with details. If not, and you want one, email me and I’ll add you to the info list!

9. I haven’t been on Etsy in at least two weeks. Surely I’m ill.

10. Wait, that’s a lie. I forgot I’ve been browsing and salivating over my sister’s new vintage shop there. I’m praying some of those things don’t sell because I’m interested in plundering her stash when I’m there next month. Shoot, why did I just post that link?!

My kids got snuggies for Christmas and love them. In fact, Mazie insists on sleeping in hers every night. Have fun in Monterey.

I gave my hubby a subscription to Nat Geo last year for Christmas and he loved it so much that he asked for it again this past year! I think it’s a great way to spend $15 (and he was just barely 30)!

Debbie, I actually substituted feta for the ricotta salata. And pecans for the pine nuts.
