I’VE BEEN PUBLISHED!

Okay, well, sort of. Check out the article I wrote for our local newspaper about Sarah’s Baby Gap Fame…it’s award-winning, for real. I’m thinking they’ll be contacting me anyday about my Pulitzer (someone please tell me that’s the right award).

Anyway, here are some fun shots of me and Pippy at the park last week. After this little jaunt we headed over to McDonalds for Sarah’s first Happy Meal which should be a joyous occasions except that halfway there I realized that she was in the back seat playing with her carseat straps because she wasn’t buckled in. Okay, it’s out. Call me Brittany and then call DHS. I deserve it. But I bet I’ll be the only mom interviewed by DHS with a Pulitizer. So there.

And one of her new favorite signs: “help me”…

I just got an email from a friend saying Sarah was featured on the Channel 9 news in Denver…check it out here! If you click on the little video camera you can see the video.

Now I can say I know two famous people. The Gap Baby and her reporter Mom. Seriously though, love the pictures and the blog and I have to keep laughing at how much you remind me of the way I was with Evie. Then we moved three times and had another one and well stuff just happens. Now MacDonalds is her favorite place and she’d stay glued to the t.v. if I let her(she still eats my sugar free cookies though). This is all just beyond awesome- I’m jealous and I didn’t even enter my camera hating kids! Go Pigbear, we’re rooting for you!

Sarah will be famous! I can’t wait until the results are in. Too bad they didn’t have you and Sarah come for the news report in Denver. Hopefully this will get more votes in for Sarah!!!

Don’t worry I have also left the carseat unbuckled, last time was about a month ago. There should be a beaper on those things when you start the car up, just in case you forget! Gina

OK, call me Brittany, too. We left Mikey unbuckled once – he was bundled up in blankets, and we didn’t lift up the blanket to check. See? Everyone does it…lol.
And why didn’t they invite SARAH up to the news program? She’s much cuter than Eban! I keep wanting to call him eBay…lol

The newspaper AND the local news?!?! You are totally going to have paparazzi following you two around soon! 😉 Oh wait – you ARE the paparazzi, right? 😉 I am just thrilled for Sarah! I ran over to the TV when they started talking about Sarah and just knew I had to e-mail you right away! Loved the article and those pictures are just too cute! The first one is my favorite! I can’t wait to hear that Sarah won! 😉

Oh Erin…I so have been there!! I feel like a HORRIBLE parent when I do that, but atleast she’s somewhat in a seat…right?!?!

I have been voting for that little guy too…how cool would that be if the top boy and top girl were from the Denver area??

I wouldn’t worry too much about the seatbelt thing. At least she was IN the seat. I have forgotten to buckle up both of the girls. I love the outfit she is wearing. She is just too cute.

Mark my words, you’ll get a call from the CS TV stations today… they watch what was on Denver TV and then do their own version the next day!!!

Erin, your sense of humor cracks me up. Whenever I’m getting stressed out about work stuff, I just click over to the pigbear and it all melts away. Thanks!

Super Cool Erin!! I loved your article and the news footage…Sarah is such a natural at having her photo taken (big bright eyes and smiling face), and you’re such a natural at taking photos (we absolutely love the Christmas card photo!)

You probably didn’t let Sarah have the fries and soda with her Happy Meal did you? She probably had the apple slices and milk! And don’t feel bad, I think most of us have left the car seat unbuckled ONCE. I’ll bet you don’t do it ever again though!!

Erin you can win the first Pulitzer for hocking your baby’s photo on an online newspaper. Maybe they’ll create a new category. Parmy and I have been voting religiously to ensure Sarah can have a college education and clothes for a few years.
