My daughter Sarah is four and my son Ephraim is two…

Just checking to see if I’m ready to say those things yet.

I’m not.

Good thing I still have a few weeks before the two-ness is a reality. Unfortunately the fourness already is. Sarah is officially four. Well, not technically officially four (until October 28th) but we went to the mat over whether or not she could claim four now that her party is over and she’s blown out the candles. She came away with the win and I came away with a four year old. Her Daddy and Grandaddy backed her up. I couldn’t argue.

The party was a huge success (the cupcake pops? not so much).

Much more to share all week long.

Yay for 4! I will agree that the boy turning two is harder. Not sure why but it is.

She’s one adorable little 4-year old! Happy (almost) 4th birthday, Sarah! Sorry to hear about the cupcake pops. :- )

Yep, she still has 3 more days of being 3! (Doesn’t she know that a lady never wants to claim an age older than she really is?!) At any age, she certainly is a beauty. Look at that wonderful smile. . . I love it! (and love her. Do I even need to say that I so wish we could have been there to celebrate with you!)

4 is great! My daughter turned 4 at the end of August and every time she see the number 4 she has to say ‘that’s how old I am’ And she’s already talking about turning 5. And the whole 2 thing is amazing. I remember when your little man was born. If we could only make time go just a little bit slower!!

well happy bday to Sarah! Don’t you wish you could just bottle them up at this age forever?? LOL! Oh and is that the dress you made for her? It’s gorgeous!! I love it!

Ok, I literally almost had a heart attack when I read “Sarah is officially 4,” wondering how on Earth I managed to miss her birthday. The date is sort of etched in my heart. 🙂 Way to give your bestie a scare!

Isn’t it funny how they want to claim their age before it’s official? We change so much as we get older. 😉

I tried those cakepops for my son’s birthday in August. Oh my word. Deeee-saster.

Happy Birthday Sarah! Yums officially turned 4 yesterday…which blows my mind, as I’m sure Sarah’s impending day does yours!
