curious.

I’ve been told that my most endearing*/annoying trait is my insatiable curiosity as it pertains to people. Some might call this nosy but I prefer inquisitive. It seems my children have inherited this trait. While in the Poconos last week we had the chance to meet baby Ben Shertzer for the first time. He’s two months old already and has quite the sweet personality. Sarah and Ephraim were enamored with him. Particularly Ephraim. He loves him a baby.

Meet Ben, happy as a little clam…

3

Uh-oh Ben, do you hear that?

2

Enter my curious children…

4

What do you think happens if we touch him right here?

7

Sarah tired quickly of their game and soon scampered off to play with Kiki.

Not Ephraim. He was in it for the long haul. Listen closely and you might still hear is inquisitive little voice…”baby? baby? baby?”

11

Ah yes, every two month old needs their own personal ear wax cleaner.

6

And jammy sniffer.

9

And portable heart rate monitor.

8

Thanks for being a good sport little guy. You look no worse for the wear!

* Fine, I’ll admit it. No one has ever actually called my curiosity endearing but I remain confident that one day it will happen.

I’m so glad you had a wonderful time! I knew you would and yes, it’s totally worth all the hassle. :) I love that your son loves babies so much and what wonderful photos of Ben. Oh, and the trio in swim suits…those are some HOT MAMAs!!! Miss you guys.

what is it about babies loving other babies? fisher can’t get enough of babies, tho i’m pretty sure if it was OUR baby he’d be done with it.

I’m SO glad you captured that! I can still hear Ephraim saying “baby baby baby”! And Ben just doesn’t know what to do with himself now that his fan club isn’t around anymore. . .

You will never believe this – but I MET THIS FAMILY AT THE ATL AIRPORT THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was dying. I saw Hayden and Amy walking down the airport and I stopped her and said, ‘you’re Erin Cobb’s friend aren’t you?” and she was like ” do you read her blog?” So I had to explain that I more than read your blog, that we go way back, blah blah blah. It was a trip. I told her I would email you as soon as I had the chance. Here I am on an airplane doing so.

So funny!
hope you’re well!
