e’s birthday.

In the all the Fall hoopla I’ve somehow neglected to mention that our boy’s 6th birthday has come and gone. Or maybe it’s just that I’m in denial. Yes, it’s probably that.

His birthday request this year was to go to the place where a kid can be a kid. And only because we love him so insanely much, we said yes.

Trust me, if I’d loved him just a teensy weensy bit less it would have been a big fat no way. Because, seriously? Chuck E Cheese? No thanks.

But our boy definitely doesn’t see it that way. And despite his rather serious expressions in all of these shots, he had the time of his life. The thing is, he was just very serious about the business at hand: the ticket blaster. You’ll see…

Happy birthday my boy. I’d go to Chuck E Cheese a million times for you.

But please, please, please don’t make me.

I think *I”m* in denial! 6?! I think I started reading your blog when he was 2 or 3. Back when my baby (Ephram) was just that, a baby, and I was so surprised to see a little boy with “Ephraim” written on his shirt and just had to read more. 🙂

Happy Birthday Ephraim!

I’m in denial right there with you! Because if Ephraim is 6, that means that my youngest son will be 6 very. very soon… and no, just no. 😉 Looks like he had a great time!
