Okay, your surge of pride about P-Dub’s cookbook becoming #1 is not at all strange. I am only concerned because Ree and I were friends first and I have already attended a book signing. Now . . . let me ask you this, is it strange that I felt protective of our cyber-friendship and was a little irritated by the herds of people that showed up to have their books signed? Afterall, I have been following her since before she became uber-famous and she was my friend first. (I think I may have mentioned that before . . .) On a serious note though, how awesome is it that a blogging mother and wife from the country has achieved this?! I am freakishly proud as well!!

I don’t even post that often (so rare that you are probably saying WTH is this woman), but I totally get it!!! I get excited when your kids do something, when you get to see your family, and even when your friends adopt babies (hi Ben!!!) lol but I’m really not a stalker, just a GREAT FRIEND!!!! hehehe Oh and Ree and I-we totally go WAY BACK!!!! (ie-I have her recipes printed from my computer in my little recipe book, and they are all gunked up!)

and can I just say I am so jealous of the guys! I am the football fan in my house and MY husband doesn’t take care of the “petty little issues”-if he did he sprout some boobs and feed this kid (and all the others that he FORCED me to have!!) lol

and ya know, if you have a new baby, you have a reason to buy some of these cute blankets and hats on Etsy…like you need another reason to love Etsy!!

I’m tickled that you answered my question, and STUNNED that it was not planned! (I’m referring to the party clothes, you know.) I just have to say that it made your pictures look even better than usual, so you might make note of that for future party invitations. (How bossy is that? “Moms, please dress your kids to coordinate with mine!”)

And that sense of pride for PW’s book is Blogger’s Pride! I feel the same way. And I just realized this morning that I’d missed the book signing here in Denver and kicked myself! I had made a note of it and everything. Crumb. Just another sign I need to get more organized. Have fun in Nashville when you go!

And way to outsmart those guys. Sounds like your party will be fun!

That is awesome that you are planning on going to the PW’s book signing. All I have to say is get there really early. I was an hour and a half early to the one here in Denver and all the seats were taken by the time I got there! (There was plenty of room to stand but there ended up being a LOT of people there by the time it started!) Amazing!
