The Toy Place Downtown | Huntsville Mom About Town

Happy 1st Monday of December!!! I can NOT believe that December is here. We are in it! 20 days til Christmas!!! WOW!! The thought of that both excites me and freaks me out because I have purchased 1 Christmas gift! 1!! That is all.

Now with that being said this next spot could DEFINITELY knock out several of those gifts that I need!

The Toy Place Downtown, located at 11o Cleveland Ave, is a new fabulous, locally owned toy store!!

Owner, Susan Blevins, opened this 500 square feet of fun in October! Who knew that you could pack so much fab in such a small spot!!

The Toy Place has some of the most unique toys, novelty items, and candy that Huntsville has ever seen!

Susan said that it was important to her for kiddos to come in with $10 and feel RICH!!! How precious is that!!!

Check out these sweet things for the child in your life who loves (or is IN!) the Nutcracker…

80% of the toys cost under $20 and only a very small handful of toys have batteries. Hallelujah! And speaking of $20, for every $20 spent you get a wooden nickel worth $1 of store credit! What a fun reward!!!

While The Toy Place has alot of newer, modern toys they also have some retro style toys too!!

The hours of this great little spot are Mon-Sat 10-6 and for the holidays they are open on Sundays from 1-5.

They also have some after hour shopping by appointment!

You can stay up to date on the happenings at The Toy Place on their Facebook page.

One of the happenings that is going on until Thursday at The Toy Place is their toy drive. They are collecting toys for children who have parents that are incarcerated. When you bring a toy (or buy one there!!) you get a wooden nickel worth $1!!

They are  also helping Morris Elementary school supply their school Christmas store. These items are things children can “purchase” for parents or siblings. If you bring a small item you get another wooden nickel!!!

And as an added bonus, if you participate in either of these wonderful opportunities to give you are registered to win a $50 gift certificate to The Toy Place!

Thank you to Susan and The Toy Place for letting us feature you! You have brought such a fun, exciting place to Huntsville and WE LOVE IT!!!! We have a fabulous giveaway from this little jewel, a $25 gift certificate (and trust us…with $25 here you WILL feel rich!)…
