sweet baby girl | huntsville newborn photographers

It has been months since I’ve gotten my hands on a newborn baby girl, which is only one of the reaons why last week’s session with this little cutie made my heart skip a beat.

The fact that she had so much dark hair and bore an uncanny resemblance to my first child as a newborn was another one.

Then, of course, there was the fun of getting to use some of my sweet baby girl headbands…

This fabulous family now has two bookend daughters with a son sandwiched right in between. I couldn’t resist creating a portrait of the two sisters, 11 years apart, who will undoubtedly be best friends in their 20’s, 30’s, and beyond. One day I hope this image will mean something profound to both of them.

Our very last pose of the day (and the hardest to get!) was our sweet bundle in her first tutu. I think it was worth all the sweat (ours) and tears (hers) to make it happen!

Miss thing, you were so sweet and snuggly. Thank you for giving me my baby girl fix this month. I guess there’s only one thing left to say…

Peace out!

Monica Wagner Oh my goodness, Erin, I am in love with these and can not wait to see the rest! You did an amazing job and were such a joy to work with. You seriously are the Baby Whisperer, if you ask me!

Lacey R What a beauty and her big sis is gorgeous, too!! That last shot is so cute & funny!

Leanne Beautiful pictures as always, Erin! I’ve been following your blogs for several months (after Karen Russell mentioned you on her blog) but this is the first time I’ve commented. I have to ask where you get your newborn props – I am especially loving that headband!

Lorena Mora I know what you mean on the baby fix, luckily my sister has a 2 month old so I get my baby fix there.

This little one is beautiful, love the headband. Quick question on the little tutu, on my screen it looks a little dark by the thigh area, was it a 2 tone tutu? I love the tutu it’s very cute!

martha hernandez Erin, what a cutie. Love every photo. You do backlighting so well. Love the 2nd to last photo. The sisters will treasure that photo of them.
