six months of sweet | huntsville baby photographer

I know it’s slightly evil of me but I get a teeny tiny little thrill out of leaving a session when the parents are worried their little one didn’t smile. Because usually, I know the truth…

I know it’s SO hard to be on the other side of the camera, wondering just how in the world anything good will come out of the madness that’s happening inside the room. But when my clients trust me, like I sensed this sweet couple did, it makes my job so rewarding. And it gives me the freedom to see and capture the beauty. And this child, oh she was beautiful.

From the stray little curl on the top of her head, to the sweetness in her little baby toes…

Every inch of her was delightful.

And she continued my streak of babies who reach out for me and want to snuggle. They must know I need extra love this time of year! 😉 Of course, she saved her best snuggles for her mama…

(I normally like to keep my processing straightforward and colorful but that shot just begged for a more subtle tone to it. I love how it turned out.)

Mom and Dad told me how much she adores her little ride-on lamby so we had to find a way to incorporate it into her session. Check out these two pairs of beautiful eyes and lashes!

And I can’t resist posting this last shot…a true portrait of life with a snuggly six month old in the house…

In this midst of family holiday portrait season this sweet gal was just what I needed to refresh my soul. Thank you my adorable little friend!

Amy You’ve done it again–you never cease to amaze me! These are fabulous and you truly have a gift. If I had to pick a favorite, mom and babe is it, but inspecting those toes is a close runner up followed just about equally by all of them!
