Minisessions…it’s a wrap! | huntsville children’s photographer

Holiday minisession sneak peeks version 2.0, here we go…

ETA: Not sure how I missed this sweet family the first go around?! The love the poured out of them for their first child warmed my heart on such a cold day and reminded me of the joy my husband and I shared over every step, word, and giggle of our own first daughter. There’s absolutely nothing like the feeling of watching your first child grow!

And one more that didn’t get posted the first go ’round. A family of three grown brothers + dad isn’t my usual clientele but it  gave me a chance to bomb try out some new jokes for the 18 and older crowd. 😉

Y’all, this day was cold. And I know the fact that I just used the word “y’all” disqualifies me from making any sort of statement regarding cold temperatures since here in the deep south we see them so very rarely, but still, it was cold. But my clients are troopers in the truest sense of the word and were undeterred by the freezing temps and chilly wind. They’re fabulous.

This little dude started my day off with a smile…

And as so many of my favorite faces kept walking up my smiler just got wider and wider. Like these little brothers, not strangers to this blog by any stretch of the imagination…

Nor are these boys and their sweet mama and daddy…

A couple of years ago these little guys helped me make one of my favorite images of all time, and they’ve only gotten cuter (HOW is that possible?!)…

It was my first time getting this sweetie in front of my lens although I get to see her sweet smile almost daily at preschool…

And this little one was doing minisessions before minisessions were cool. Totally kidding. Minisessions have always been cool. (I know you’re going to click on that link and think I posted the wrong baby. But I promise that is the same beautiful child!)

This darling girl refused to wear shoes…did I mention it was cold? She’s as hearty as she is beautiful.

And you can’t see it underneath this cap but this teeny tiny friend of mine is still sporting the mohawk he had when I met him at just days old

These friends of mine never cease to make me giggle. And even though they were freezing their patooties off, this day was no exception!

For the third year in a row this crew brought up the rear as my last session of the day. They always assure we’ll go out with bang!

And my minisession spokesmodels put me in a very merry mood…

Getting your family ready and out the door on picture days is surely harried. But in my book the most credit this year has to go to this sweet family who bunded up their two month old twins and two year old and still managed to be early and LOOK FABULOUS. That’s no small feat my friends…

Happy Minisessions Everybody! See you next year. I’m already looking forward to it. =)
