long time coming | huntsville children’s photographer

It’s been six days since I met up with these seven lovely families for our minisessions. I know they’re anxious to at least get a taste of what their images look like so let’s get started! I wanted to get as many sessions in as possible to maximize the donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which meant that each session was literally placed right up against the next one. I felt like I was barely able to say hello and goodbye before I ran off to greet the next family. Suffice it to say I was a “hot mess” (as we say in the South) by the end of it all!

The best thing about all the craziness though was that the happiness was twofold…a donation to LLS and a set of lovely images for each family go home with! Like these…

And of course we ended the evening with the lady of the hour, flanked by her adorable brother and sister…

I really can’t think of a better way to spend a late spring afternoon!

Lorena Mora Not only are you an awesome photographer, mom but you are giving, you have such a big heart and that makes you the best. All these photos are beautiful and Ally well what can I say but I hope and pray she beats that ugly disease that a child should not have to endure. You’re the best Erin and so much was raised and you were such help you must feel great to be a part of it.

Kristy Milton I’ve been a lurker, but decided today is the day for me to come out of my shell. Leukemia holds a pretty special place in my heart & I just wanted to say you have done an amazing thing! You are one special person & this family will never ever forget you. Praying that she gets well & beats this horrible disease. The images are gorgeous as always!

Janelle Anderson Thank you Erin! I love sneak peaks. :) All the photos are gorgeous and I can’t wait to see the rest! I’m so happy we were able to participate in the minisessions. You rock! So fun to catch up with you.

Janelle Anderson peak?! Peek! Okay, I am truly a mt. girl! :)

Suzanne Booher It was so nice to meet you at the event. Your donations to the LLS was so generous, and the photos are BEAUTIFUL. (I especially love them because most of them are my good friends!) If you come again next year, sign us up!

Melissa I LOVE them Erin–all of them! I can’t wait to see more. I’m so happy we were asked to participate. You have a gift of great generosity and talent! I think I have to say, whenever you come back, sign us up again as well! :)

Stephanie @ La Dolce Vita Not only are your photos gorgeous, so is your own sweet self! I hope all your kindness and generosity comes back to you many times over!

Sam Just curious… what aperture do you usually use for sibling shots??? Love the shallow dof but the kiddos are still so focused.

taking it all in stride | huntsville family photographer » Erin Cobb Photography […] These guys have been in front of my camera before and it was awesome to see how they’ve grown in the last year. Each of these sweet kids shines in their own area of interest. We have a Tae Kwon Doe student… […]
