JoJo and Papa | huntsville family and grandparent portraits

Last weekend I photographed an entire day’s worth of grandparents with their most precious cargo – their grandchildren. Grandparent minisession day has quickly become one of my favorite days of the entire year. This year my husband raced in a duathlon on the same day as minisessions so we called in the big guns to watch our kiddos…our own JoJo and Papa!

So you know how I had to end my day then…

I was shooting all day and left the wardrobe decisions up to them…and I’d say they nailed it!

This is well documented on my personal blog but I hit the in-law jackpot with these two. They’re kind, helpful and just enough fun to keep things interesting. Right, Papa? 😉

And needless to say, the kiddos love them. Ephraim and his Papa are two wild and crazy peas in a pod…

And most of their time together ends something like this…

Meanwhile, Ephraim and his JoJo are all snuggles, all the time. (Well, with a little iPad time mixed in there too.)

Sarah’s a JoJo fan too…

(it’s hard not to be.)

And she loves to pick at her Papa…

And love on him too…

Thank you JoJo and Papa, for watching the kiddos for the day…

and for just being all around awesome. Love you.

Mary Ann Harden Such great captures!!!

Katie Stromei Precious family!!! I think Sarah looks just like her sweet Mama!

AmyJ These are unbelievably precious. Priceless!
