bringing the spunk in San Antonio | huntsville childrens photographer

Last Saturday, just in time for a long weekend that came on the heels of 5 straight days of being snowed in with two preschoolers, I flew to San Antonio for five days. If you’re a local mama who is hanging on to her sanity by a thread, try not to hate me. I prayed for you all, I did. But I’ll also admit to doing a little happy dance when my ride came to pick me up and we headed out of the snow and into the warmth of Texas for a few days. It was delightful.

We were there for a bit of professional development but I couldn’t resist advertising for a few sessions while I was there. I scheduled three but ended up with just one. The first session was rained out (boo!) and the third session was plagued by poor little ones with the flu (double boo!). That left me with these three troopers, sandwiched right in the middle. We started our time together with them looping around my hotel umpteen times, looking for a place to park. Which means we had some energy to burn when they were finally let loose! But it just so happens that kids with energy to burn are my specialty!

I don’t know why or how it started but I always let the middle child go first in my blog sneak peeks. So meet this new friend of mine, looking like a classic 50’s movie star with his Cool Hand Luke pose…

Is he a trip or what?! Adorable.

And big brother was equally dapper…

Their little sister brought up the rear with her spunky, mishchievous little smiles. She was hilarious. I’m telling you, at only 2 1/2 she tried to keep up with everything her brothers did. Which was a lot. But this little child never missed a beat. I love a girl with spunk!

Thanks so much for  braving the elements, the traffic, and the riverwalk for our time together. I can’t wait for you to see the rest!

Megan I just let out a squeal so loud that Camryn came running in saying “what mama?! What?” I am so in love with these pictures and I cannot WAIT to see the rest! Thank you so very much for making my crazy kids feel so very comfortable!

Vera Erin, these are so cute! I’m so bummed that our schedule didn’t work out for us to have you take our photos! Let us know the next time you’re in TX!

Brad Beautiful images, Erin! The parents can’t help but love these!!
